This month our guest speaker will be Antone Minard who will help us understand the Welsh markings on tombstones and how to interpret Welsh wills.

Monday, June 25th from 10:00 am till 3:00 pm Work Party Day

A delicious meal will be provided.

Saturday August 18th at 2 pm The Annual Garden Party

Welsh Society Members are invited to our Annual Garden Party on Saturday, August 18th from 2 pm. Lynn and Wilf Owens-Whalen have again very kindly offered the use of their home and beautiful garden for this special summer event.

As there is some planning involved, it would be very much appreciated if interested members would contact Lynn Owens-Whalen at 604-266-2545 (email: lowens-whalen@telus.net)  or Gaynor Evans 604 271-3134 (email: fgevans@telus.net) by Saturday, August 5th with names and numbers of people attending.

We would like to share appetizers, cold cuts, salads and desserts so please let us know what you would like to contribute to the table. BYOB, juice, water or your choice of beverage. We may need extra lawn chairs.
