Please note that this is a week earlier than usual and has been rescheduled due to Spring Sale events.
The book this month is “A Man called Ove” by Fredrik Backman.
Sunday, April 8th Bilingual Service at 11:00 am
This will be followed by a Tê Bach (light refreshments).
Monday, April 9th at 7:00 pm Executive Meeting
Saturday April 14th 10 am till 2 pm GRAND SPRING SALE
In recent years this has been the most successful fundraiser for the society and, with your help, this will be the best yet. Spread the word amongst your friends!
As well as the Silent Auction, our most successful stall, the stalls will include:
Home made baking and preserves, China, Collectibles; Pre-owned Books, CD’s, DVD’s and Videos, Kitchenware, Linens and Jewelry, “White Elephant”, “Things Welsh”, Children’s Wear and Toys, Electrical and Electronics. Please remember that we would be pleased to sell your donated Welsh and British collectibles.

Sunday, April 22nd in the afternoon
A delegation from the national Museum Wales, National Library of Wales and the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales will be in Vancouver in April. They will be visiting the Cambrian Hall on this Sunday afternoon to let us know how we can contribute our stories about our Welsh experiences, both individually and as a Society.
Monday, April 23rd from 10:00 am till 3:00 pm Work Party Day
A delicious lunch will be provided. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Friday, April 27th Pub Night at the Red Dragon
